3 Terminial Lamp SocketsStandard 3-wire lamp sockets control lamps with two bulbs: one standard bulb at the top of the lamp and a night light bulb in the lamp base. 3-wire lamp sockets enable you to control both light bulbs separately. One turn of 3- wire sockets light the top, two turns of 3 -wire sockets light the bottom and three turns of 3- wire sockets light both the top and bottom bulbs. 3-wire lamp sockets are often used in Gone With The Wind Lamps along with snap- in night light sockets. 3 terminal sockets control both top and bottom bulbs.
Use 3 terminal sockets along with Paxton #2440 snap- in night light sockets ( for lamp base).
