Hinge Types
Standard hinges used on cabinet doors.

Butt Hinges: This is a very old style of hinge used on most antique furniture. 2 plates also called hinge leaves come together in a joint. A very useful hinge which has been produced in brass, iron and nickel. |

| Invisible Hinges: Mortise into door & frame or table leaf & table top providing a hidden appearance when closed. Available as round barrel hinges and rectangular shapes. |

| Pivot Hinges: Provide a concealed appearance. Attaches to top and bottom of drawer. Round the hinge end of the door so that the doors will swing clear.

|
| Knife Hinges: Mounts to the bottom and top of door. Door can be set back a small amount when mounted and still swing clear of cabinet. |

| No Mortise Hinges: are used on flush doors, bi-fold doors and doors with moldings. These are popular hinges as they are easy to install. |
|
|
| Wrap Around Hinges: provide a 270 degree opening. Use these hinges on full overlay doors which are 5/8"- 7/8" thick. |
