Our lamp burner reference chart below offers a quick guide to available burners. Please note:
- Hornet lamp burners and Gem Arctic lamp burners have the same collar opening as a #1, however the threading is different meaning these burners are not interchangeable.
- No. 1 and No. 2 lamp burners are available in both electric and oil.
- Burners are used with chimneys and often glass lampshades.
- Shade holders are available to fit many of these burners.

Thread size of burner and collar opening must match for oil lamp burners to correctly screw into lamp collars.
- Thread sizes on burners and collars have varied over the years. As a result not all collars and burners which appear the same are interchangeable.
- Many old and new collars and burners will screw together. Often the only way to tell is by trying the two together.
- A proper fit between collar and burner is important to reduce the risk of fire.
