Antique style cabinet locks for boxes, cabinets, desks, drawers and doors are reproduced in period styles for antique furniture. When replacing an old lock it is first necessary to determine the type needed: surface, half mortise or full mortise. Cabinet door most often use surface locks mounted to the inside of doors. Cabinet locks most commonly used on furniture drawers, chest lids, and drop front desks are half mortise styles. Jewelry boxes and lift lid chests use box locks with a strike. Full mortise drawer locks are used on drawers and doors. Excellent on reproductions and vintage furniture all are copies of originals.
