Student lamp shades with a 10 inch bottom fitter

10" fitter glass student lamp shades are used on many antique lamps. White glass student shades were often seen on brass and nickel rayo lamps. Green cased glass shades topped student lamps. Hand painted student shades were used on glass hurricane lamps. Aladdin lamps had white opal or frosted glass shades. Gone with the wind lamps had shades painted to match the font. The choice is a matter of personal taste. All of these student shades are used with a glass chimney. Student lamp shades with a 7" bottom fitter

7" fitter glass lamp shades were popular on Victorian lamps. Glass lamp shades were hand painted with roses and floral designs. White student shades were produced with a ruffled or flat top. Green student shades were available in cased glass or green rib designs. Shade holders and burners support student shades and chimneys.

Ball shades and Astral style lamp shades

Glass ball shades were a favorite on Victorian piano lamps. Hand painted designs with tinted backgrounds top most of these parlor lamps. Torchiere shades for floor lamps

Torchiere floor lamp shades are used on floor lamps from the 20th century. These are large glass shades with embossed designs or rib patterns. Light shines upward providing good illumination. Information on selecting a torchiere shade.

Glass uno shades for bridge lamps

Glass uno shades offer an alternative to the standard parchment uno shade. Use on a bridge arm lamp where the shade hangs down. A special uno holder , which screws onto socket, must be used to hold these glass shades. For more specific information please see selecting a Glass Uno Shade
