Replacement Lamp Wire SPT-1SPT-l plastic covered lamp cord was used in most traditional lamps and easily slips 1/8 IP lamp pipe. However new UL listings now recommend SPT-2 plastic covered lamp cord with heavier plastic outside coating for table & floor lamps where the lamp cord is exposed. SPT-1 plastic covered lamp cord is recommended for use in hanging fixtures and sconces. General purpose plastic covered lamp cord, #18-2, 105 degree, rated 300 volt.
