Replacement Bed Hardware

Assemble old beds with correct replacement bed hardware including bed bolts, bolt covers, bed rail hardware and spring supports. Replacement bed hardware makes it possible to reclaim old beds in the attic or spare room. Bed bolts along with bed bolt covers are used to assemble early rope beds. Bed rail fasteners and bed hooks secure rails to frames using a hook mechanism. Bed brackets enable frames with bed hooks to be widened to full size. Brass bed balls top iron and brass bed posts. Updating vintage beds can be challenging but finding the correct replacement bed hardware is the first step. The rewards are significant as vintage beds look authentic and are resilient when restored. When assembled with these authentic bed bolts, bed rail fasteners and bed hooks tighten and secure the frame. Technical information and pictorial diagrams are provided showing antique bed hardware in use.

I bought a nice antique headboard and foot-board, ca. 1840, but there were no rails. The pieces I bought had notches cut in them with brass plates of a certain shape. Although I couldn't get brass fasteners anywhere, the ones I got at Paxton Hardware are exactly the right size, inexpensive compared to other outlets, and delivery was prompt. The steel pieces are not visible, anyway, so it isn't important that they are not brass.

    Incredible Find!

I recently obtained two sets of head and foot boards (in incredible condition) from a family member that date back to the mid to late 1800's. The side boards fell apart after a termite infestation, and my wife and I wanted to make new ones to use the beds for our two children. After searching tirelessly online for hardware that matched the original, I came across these.. Let me tell you, they worked PERFECTLY! The beds are now used by our children and are so strong! They don't make hardware for beds like this anymore, or so I thought. Paxton Hardware does, and it saved us hundreds of dollars we otherwise would've spent having them done by an antique restoration company or buying beds like these somewhere new. I couldn't be happier with the results, they're strong, durable and well made. I recommend anyone who wants to restore antique beds to their original condition to use this product, you won't be disappointed!!!

Nice bedrail fasteners. Fixed my antique bed and were relatively easy to install. Good quality and good price. Would definitely recommend these to a friend.

We recently acquired an antique maple "clipper ship" bed that had belonged to my Dad in his youth. One of the siderail brackets was missing and a poor repair had been made to make it usable. I found the double-hook siderail brackets at Paxton and was able to make a more suitable repair. The bed is now available for visiting grandsons--4th generation of use!

I needed some replacement brass finials for an antique daybed. These were by far better and more antique looking than the originals. They are very well made and although they are not as polished as the originals I like them better. Well worth the price.

3/8" screw posts on an old hundred+ bed, and the new brass balls fit! The posts are a little long, so have to make the decision to cut them off, or add a brass ring at the bottom of the ball. Very satisfied.
