Escutcheon Keyhole Covers

Furniture escutcheon keyhole covers are decorative brass plates used to protect keyholes on cabinet doors. Many types are available to coordinate with antique furniture. Period styles include Chippendale, Sheraton, Victorian and Campaign. Wood keyhole covers were often favored on country, cottage and Victorian furniture. Keyhole covers that transcend period designs consist of round or oval shapes and the classic insert escutcheon which is a simple brass outline.
