Antique Round Cup Casters

Reproduction Antique Round Cup Casters support furniture legs while slightly elevating the height of furniture. Use on tables, chairs and chests. Simple design complements new and historic designs. Once installed furniture is easily rolled to desired location. Casters swivel independently of leg cups. Furniture legs must be round and tapered to fit snugly inside cup. Secure to leg with three wood screws. Each is solid brass with an antique finish, the quality is superb.

Carefully measure furniture-leg.
Compare sizes to actual square-cup measurements.
If leg-size differs from cup measurement; furniture-leg will need to be altered to fit in cup.

• IF REPLACING lost, damaged or broken casters: all casters on a piece of furniture should be uniform in height, style and appearance to insure proper function.

• LOAD CAPACITY has not been tested, as these casters were originally designed and extensively used, before today's testing methods. These casters are substantial and made for furniture. Rule of Thumb: the larger the piece of furniture the larger the size caster used.

Looks just like the picture and wheels roll smooth like on perfect ball bearings. Only issue is if your leg is not rounded and has any shape (like mine that is hexagonal) you need to sand down the leg to get a flush and tight custom mount without wobble. Other than that it's a great product!
