Furniture Claw Feet
Furniture Claw Feet provide a graceful termination to curved table and sofa legs. This Federal design was exploited by the Duncan Phyfe a Neoclassical cabinetmaker in the late 18th and early 19th centuries. This style was then revived again in the early 20th century. Early styles were often cast brass while later styles and those offered here were stamped from sheet brass providing crisp detail. The advantage of using stamped claw feet is if the measurements are close they can often be gingerly bent to conform to furniture legs. Our furniture claw feet are shiny stamped brass. The number of furniture legs will determine the amount needed.
Measure carefully as these claw feet, while copied from antique originals, fit many but not all furniture legs. Claw foot fits down on-to curve furniture leg. When mounting a snug fit is required. If necessary brass can be slightly-bent to confirm to leg. Attaches with 2 mounting pins.
