Large Pattern Glass Knobs

Availability: In Stock
Large Pattern Glass Knobs provide a bold appearance often seen on Federal and Empire furniture of the 1800's. The popularity of pattern glass during this era is evident in its adornment of furniture as well as tableware. These styles were originally produced by the Sandwich Glass Factory. Mold-blown pressed glass was created with stippled designs to refract the light. The oversize appearance, wider base and historic style makes these glass knobs a focal point. Please note: the larger size and scale of these knobs is not suitable for average kitchen cabinets.

Placing these knobs on an 1830s chest, they look pretty new. However, they are completely appropriate and finish off the chest beautifully. I just wish that Paxton had more styles-I'd buy more!
