Opal Hobnail Lamp Shades were originally used on oil lamps in the Victorian era. Their popularity was revitalized again during the 1940's - 1950's when they were used on vanity and small table lamps. These white, opal glass shades, also referred to as milk glass, are hand blown with an embossed hobnail pattern and ruffled crimp top. Use as replacement lampshades on antique oil lamps and vintage table lamps. Made in America.
