Wood Table Slides

Wood Table Slides are designed for dividing base and dividing leg tables. Each table-top-half moves jointly with two legs or half pedestal, as slide allows gliding with very little friction ensuring soft and easy sliding. When pulled to open, the two table-half's separate, providing an area to insert table leaves. Table leaves can easily be removed and two table halves pushed back together.

Expertly constructed of hardwood maple these quality table slides provide strong dependable service and smooth quiet action. These wood table slides have a specially designed arc, built into each side of slides, providing a continuous leveling support to table leaves when table tops are extended.

I had to replace the wood slides on my daughter's table which she had just bought through the internet. The slides on the table were cracked and they were also damaged during shipment. The new Paxton slides were perfect and were easy to install.

Replacing table slides requires minimal effort. Measure the old one, find new ones that comport to the size, and simply unscrew the old and screw in the new. IMPORTANT! Do NOT rely on the old screws to fit the new slides. It is SO EASY to screw through the surface of the table top. (No, I did NOT do this!) BE SURE to measure for thickness and even then check with the first screw in place. The quality of the slides offered here is good so you can pretty much be guaranteed that all the holes are he same. To be certain, however, you may want to double check. All it takes is one to be 1/4" deeper for some reason and you've got a problem. Any good professional cabinetmaker would be sure to check that.
